VETERINARIAN

VACANCY
Applications are invited for local citizens for the post of
VETERINARIAN.
Duties: -
• Maintain, implement and monitor farm flock health
program and performance parameters.
• Initiate audits and conduct routine checks on the health
of livestock and environmental-associated factors.
• Compile, and analyse farm and flock health data.
• Collect sample samples, run tests, conduct postmortem, and other required procedures to determine
health conditions.
• Advise on illness symptoms and disease.
• Report on farm flock health conditions and farm
practices and make appropriate recommendations to
the Management.
• Advise on biosecurity plan issues.
• Conduct training for farm staff on farm procedures.
• Responsible for emergency calls related to flock health
and others and making appropriate control measures.
Qualification:
• Possess a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
• Candidate with a year of experience in poultry farming
will be an added advantage.
• Computer literate and good proficiency in English and
Bahasa Melayu.
• Good communication skills and ability to work
independently and proactively.
• Possess a valid class D driving license.
• Minimum 25 years old and must be willing to travel and
work in the farms.
Remuneration: Minimum RM4000.00
Other benefits: Fast-track training and a 4-wheel drive
car (manual) shall be provided
