Sarawak Research and Development Council (SRDC) is inviting all interested and qualified
candidates to fill up the job position as mentioned below:
Project Site Engineer (Civil), J48
Group : Management and Professional
Salary : RM5,208.00 (Min) – RM11,766.00 (Max), allowances and other benefits
Employment Status : Contract
Vacancy : 1
Qualifications
• Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a local higher education institution
recognized by the Government or a recognized equivalent qualification.
• Registered as Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia
• Possess at least a “C” in both English and Bahasa Malaysia for their Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia/ Sijil
Vokasional Malaysia or any equivalent certificates recognized by the government.
Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
• Planning and coordinate matters related to development, upgrading and management of Sarawak
Research and Development Council facilities (including the Science Centre and SIDC) in order to
run according to the planned schedule
• Ensure SRDC facility development and project management (including Science Centre and SIDC)
is coordinated efficiently and professionally
• Monitor and regulate the work performance of consultants/ contractors appointed for related
projects
• Monitor project development and infrastructure upgrade works in compliance with Government
and SRDC contracts including procurement and legal processes related to project development
and infrastructure upgrade works been carried out
• Monitor any related procurement matters comply with Government circulars and SRDC circulars
(including MEITD)
• Prepare Current Project reports still under monitoring
• Perform other duties as directed by the General Manager from time to time
Mechanical & Electrical Engineer, J41/ J44
Group : Management and Professional
Salary : RM2,529.00 (Min) – RM9,643.00 (Max), allowances and other benefits
Employment Status : Contract

Qualifications
• Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a local higher education institution
recognized by the Government or a recognized equivalent qualification.
• Registered as Graduate Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia
• Possess at least a “C” in both English and Bahasa Malaysia for their Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia/ Sijil
Vokasional Malaysia or any equivalent certificates recognized by the government.
Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
• To review and coordinate Building and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) drawings.
• Responsible for effective project implementation of the site works for all M&E work and prepare
necessary reports.
• To coordinate M&E subcontractors on site work and ensure quality works.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, supervisors and all relevant parties
involved in the project.
Job Requirements:
• Experience to handle M&E infra work
• Ability to coordinate with consultants and contractors in solving any site technical issues
• Responsible and have good working attitude
• Willing to work 5.5 days per week and outside office hours, if needed
