• Competencies / skills: Excellent Communication skills, people-oriented and
effective operational management skill, experience in tuition, above average
IT skill, health and safety knowledge, good administration and accounting
skills , excellent English proficiency in both written and spoken.
Remuneration and benefits: RM4500 - RM5000
Incentives: EPF, SOCSO, SIP, medical benefits and yearly bonus
Working hours: Monday to Saturday 9am to 6pm

About Us
Bahasa Inggeris Language Tuition Centre is an established and sought after
English Second Language institution providing tailored English Tuition through the
medium of various international programmes for students across levels.
Job Description
The role, based in Kuching, will involve managing and running the Office and
Administrative practices of the tuition centres. In addition, the incumbent will be
trained into relief tutoring for the English department. While a tertiary qualification
will be considered an advantage our emphasis is on proven management
experience and English proficiency.
The environment can be fast-paced and demanding. It requires a sensible and
rational, but assertive, yet supportive, management style. The incumbent would
need to show comprehensive experience in dealing with people at all levels and
ages without needing micro-management. Our children’s tuition and care must
remain the primary focus.
The Role
Cooperative Design, Implementation and Management of staff administrative
functions, enabling coordinated and seamless operation of the centre. This would
typically include staff scheduling; productivity assessment and realignment; event
planning and execution; channelling HR functions to and for HODs; determining
new staff requirements, induction, and training; overseeing materials procurement
in consultation with HODs and administrative staff; implementing and overseeing
Director’s marketing, PR and customer relationship policies; controlling staff
adherence to all policy and procedure as set out by the Director; observing
and reporting on Health and Safety as needed; identifying and managing sub
contractors; asset management from keeping a register to planned maintenance
within budget; advise / proofread official English communications as directed.
Attributes:
The incumbent should show strategic thinking abilities to manage risk while at
the same time having an eye for detail. Must be responsible, diligent, self-driven
with a positive attitude and possess extensive experience in managing multiple
business aspects:
Knowledge of / qualification in accounting and general office administration and
communication.
