Head of Mining Engineer

IMMEDIATE VACANCIES
Position : Head of Mining Engineer (01 Post)
Location : Mukah
Reports to : Managing Director & General Manager
Responsibilities
• Organization of works on preparation of the initial data from the related services
(mechanics, technologists - concentrators) for preparation of the strategic production
plan and assessment of operating costs.
• Drawing up design specifications;
• Development and approval of design solutions for mining operations;
• Work with design, research institutes, contractors on research and design and survey
works, on issues of forward planning and mining operations;
• Operational planning, coordination, organization and control at the enterprises;
• Control over compliance of the planned scope and direction of mining works with the
adopted programs
• Participating in the budgeting of project works
• Control over timely changes in project documentation
• Preparation of the financial model for each variant and selection of the optimal solution
(according to the specified conditions)
Requirements
• An accredited degree in surveying, spatial science, geospatial science, or geographical
information systems
• Strong organisational skills, is observant, and analytical skills
• Key responsibility: organize the development of a strategic mining plan for the
Project:
• Optimization of the final field outline, optimization of intermediate field outlines;
• Preparation of several phased mining plans until the end of field development;
• Justification (technical) of the choice of mining equipment for the mining of deposits by
each stage, calculation of the necessary equipment;
Working Conditions
• Can be physically exhausting working in mines – long walking distances, longstanding hours in all types of weather
• Carry all surveying instruments/equipment to locations
• Travel is essential
